A CHAMPION FOR SOCIAL ENLIGHTENMENT
Gerry Chidiac is a high school teacher from Prince George, BC who has been inspiring young people for over 30 years. He specializes in teaching genocide studies, languages and working with at-risk students. He sees his column as an extension of his classroom.
Gerry is not afraid to look at the darker issues of humanity and is greatly inspired by the works of such writers as Victor Frankl and Stephen Covey. Despite the problems all around us, people are good. We each have the capacity to change the world for the better, and working to achieve this goal brings meaning and joy to life.
